Intercultural Communication
A German-American dual citizen, Renata studied German and Political Science as an undergraduate at the University of Minnesota and completed her MS in Business through Boston University. For 18 years she lived in Germany, working in international banking, international student exchange, as a cross-cultural trainer, and as a community college English language instructor. She also fulfilled her Army Reserve obligation in Germany until the fall of the Berlin Wall. From 2001-2006, she taught both face-to-face and online general management subjects such as Management Theory and Application, Organizational Behavior, and Critical Thinking and Decision Making at the Seattle campus of University of Phoenix. Since September 2006, she has been lead faculty at Concordia University, St. Paul, teaching in the Organizational Management and Leadership program.
