Dr. Melissa Baartman Mork

Urban Social Psychology
Melissa is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychology at Northwestern College. She has been teaching at U4C since 2008 and at Northwestern since 2002. Her courses include Psychology of Counseling, Lifespan Psychology, Psychology of Gender and Professional Issues: Multiculturalism and Ethics. Dr. Mork also sees patients at Nystrom and Associates one day each week. Dr. Mork is happily married to her husband of twenty years, Scott, and together they have two children: Sam, age 5, and Piper, age 9. Dr. Mork’s hobbies include laughing at herself and running up very large overdue library fines.
