Norman has served as the Masters Program Coordinator for the Masters of Arts in Christian Outreach program at Concordia University-St. Paul since 2007. Norman graduated from the University of San Francisco with a BA and Concordia University—St. Paul with an MA in Christian Outreach. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Wales (UK) in the area of Tibetan culture studies. He was born in the raised in the Middle East and Europe.
Norman has worked with outreach ministries at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, Ft. Lauderdale, FL;, Salem First Baptist Church, Salem, OR; Hope Presbyterian Church, Marietta, GA, South Shore Trinity Lutheran Church, White Bear Lake, MN and Trinity First Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, MN. He is currently one of the leaders in Christian outreach and demographic studies regarding Tibetans in North America. Norman works with numerous churches and organizations throughout North America in the area of cross-cultural outreach and serves as advisor to the Concordia Mission Society (an undergraduate mission organization) at Concordia University-St. Paul.
Norman is married to Dee (neé Edwards). Dee is involved in law enforcement and counseling for troubled youth and enjoys hiking; serving on mission trips; downhill skiing and snowboarding. Norman enjoys the cold; cooking; reading and is currently working on his black belt in karate. Their community activities include working at food shelves; AIDS/HIV centers in Minnesota and New York as well as service trips to Slovakia.
