Rev. Wells is the Executive Director of U4C. He has served as the Senior Pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in downtown Minneapolis since 1988, and is the founder of the School of Urban Ministry. Pastor Wells has served congregations in Roseville, MN, Colfax, WI, Cleveland, MN, and Forest Lake, MN. He has spent his ministry rebuilding and re-visioning congregations, non-profits, camps and mission organizations. He has taught at many regional and national conferences on cross-cultural and urban themes. He is married to Brenda Wells, and they have two married sons.
